Moroccanoil Treatment

My purchase of Moroccanoil Treatment months ago was wholly the result of wonderful reviews on other blogs and Makeupalley. It seemed to be a product with magical properties, one that would help control my flyaways, the baby hairs on top of my head that have this fantastic tendency of standing straight up, and leave it so weightlessly silky and shiny. I am thrilled so many people have had such great results. I'm downright jealous in fact. My results were not so great. To me, this performs no better than Paul Mitchell's Skinny Serum, John Frieda's Thermal Protection Frizz Serum, Garnier Frutis' Smoothing Milk (Strong), among other products. It will cut down blowdrying time by a bit, it will do something to tame those frizzies, but that's it. Nothing remarkable, nothing to post on Makeupalley with such remarks as "OMG THIS WILL CHANGE UR LIFE 4 EVAA" I will give it props for being weightless, a product you may want to use on one of those days when you are forgoing shampooing, but is it worth $40? Most definitely not. But I'm half way through it and I'll finish the bottle, damnit, which is my new resolve for all hair products, thanks to this economy.
